Abstract

The integration of traditional elements and modern styles in architectural decoration and renovation projects has become a key topic in contemporary design. By examining the harmonization of visual languages, the reinterpretation of cultural symbols in modern contexts, innovations in materials and craftsmanship, as well as practical case studies, this paper reveals the critical pathways and challenges in combining tradition with modernity. Through multidimensional design strategies and technological approaches, the deep integration of traditional and modern elements is promoted at the levels of form, function, and culture. Research indicates that balancing cultural inheritance with contemporary innovation not only enhances spatial quality but also opens up new directions for the development of architectural decoration.
